Ashleigh came to sit for our 2 dogs, 2 cats and 4 chickens. One of our dogs is hyperactive and barky, although friendly, whilst the other, being a rescue dog, is extremely nervous and anxious around people and dogs and tends to panic by running outside and going in circles around the house. Our 2 cats usually take a while to get used to anyone new and keep their distance. Our chickens are the easiest! When we first met Ashleigh, she was very calm and patient and interested to know more about all our pets and their habits and quirks. She was very friendly and easy to chat to and had a quiet confidence that the dogs and cats also recognised and they were relaxed around her straightaway. We were concerned mainly about the reaction of our rescue dog, but we needn't have worried. He was calm and quiet throughout, although naturally a little cautious, and he remained in his bed in the same room as us all as Ashleigh's demeanour was comfortable and reassuring. We were totally at ease leaving our pets in Ashleigh's care and our trust was well-founded. On our return, all our pets were very relaxed and looked quite happy being in Ashleigh's company. Our home was also left clean and tidy and we were very impressed with Ashleigh. We would not hesitate to have Ashleigh sit for us again or recommend her to anyone looking for a pet-sitter.

We were delighted to meet Jenny - she and Wolfie, our dog, took to each other and we had no qualms about leaving him and our house in her care. She is obviously experienced with dogs and likes them and is a mature and responsible person. It all worked really well and I would definitely not hesitate to recommend Jenny in particular - and West Wales Pet Watch in general - to anyone. 

John asked intelligent questions on his pre-stay visit. This immediately put me at ease. He was a delight to work with throughout our West Wales Pet Watch experience. Our beloved Working Cocker was well looked after.  Thank you John.

Our 2 young Labradors took to Ruth straight away. The youngest (and liveliest) chose to sleep at her feet during our first meet and greet, so we knew all would be well from then on. We are very happy to provide a testimonial for Mabli, who took care of our smallholding for 3 days & 2 nights whilst we were away. The chickens and sheep were well looked after and our 2 dogs, a greyhound and a terrier, completely fell in love with her! Mabli kept us updated with photos and we could see that they weren't missing us at all. We have four animals, two very young energetic dogs, plus a senior dog and cat. My wife and I needed to go away for a family wedding for a period of five days. We booked well in advance and Lyn visited to meet ourselves and the pets. It was clear from the off Lyn was completely comfortable with all our animals even our cat who is wary of strangers. She also made us feel really happy and reassured that our pets would be in good hands.The preparatory paperwork and conversations regarding the daily routine of the animals and household were meticulous. Communication with Lyn prior to us going away and whilst she was looking after the house was excellent with regular updates. When we came home it was obvious all the animals had been well cared for and were happy and relaxed. Lyn had established good relationships with each individual and fully met their requirements, needs and medications. The house  was spotless and Lyn had tended to the numerous outdoor potted plants.The service provided was first rate and a brilliant alternative to kennels. We had every confidence that our animals had excellent care and affection plus the house was occupied and looked after. We would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending this service and will use it again in the future.

We have no hesitation in recommending Rob as a pet sitter. He looked after our 2 sheepdogs for a week-end and it was obvious that they were in safe hands. Rob has a very calm manner which is ideally suited to interacting with animals and it was clear that they had enjoyed their time with him.

It has been a while since we last left our 2 dogs and cat with someone but as soon as we met Mabli in the set up visit we knew that we didn't have anything to worry about. She obviously loves animals and she was kind and caring from the start. She kept us informed throughout with messages and photos and it was obvious that our dogs and cat were happy and safe. The house was spotless on our return and our pets were calm and happy. We would highly recommend Mabli and would definitely use West Wales Pet Watch in the future. Thank you.

West Wales Pet Watch came up trumps for us when we needed to leave our old rescue dog at home for a few days. Lyn and Julie came for the pre-visit and we're unfazed by all our concerns over our dog's likely behaviour. When we left, said dog was playing quite happily with Julie, and when we got back she would happily have gone home with her new friend. Would definitely use them again.

Above and Beyond A big thank you to Mabli and the West Wales Pet Watch Team. We were going overseas for 2.5 weeks and didn’t want Jess our Border Collie fur baby to be in kennels away from her home for so long. I found Lyn and her Team, enquired and they arranged to visit me to meet Jess and discuss our needs.  Mabli and Jess got on fantastically from the minute they met, so we booked, completed the forms to give Mabli a clear understanding of Jess’s routine and peace of mind for us. Well Jess had a ball! Mabli sent us regular updates, photos and it was clear to see Jess was very happy and had a little holiday of her own! She was clearly very well looked after and cared for. An unfortunate incident caused a delay to our return. Mabli was amazing, she stayed an extra day and helped us make plans for Jess’s care for the few extra days we needed. I will always be grateful for this help as I was laid up in hospital and not able to do this myself. Our home was treated with the greatest respect and Mabli became popular in the village with my neighbours - loved by all who met her.  I can highly recommend Mabli and West Wales Pet Watch and happy to talk to or answer questions from any potential customers. Just one request- please don’t book Mabli when we need her services as Jess would be heartbroken not to have the chance to be with Mabli again.  Will definitely be in touch next time.
