It's taken me personally a long time to feel confident enough to leave our dogs, as you know both are rescues and I am probably as protective of them as they have become of us. When Jenny arrived on Friday I was still a bit nervous but she was just amazing and I think the thing that really put me totally at ease was watching as she sat on the sofa with Domino next to her enjoying a fuss, it filled my heart to see Ana jump up next to Domino and Jenny very carefully reaching out to stroke her with no reaction from Ana. I knew they were being left in caring, safe hands. I think in a way Jenny rescued me lol. She helped me finally feel relaxed about leaving them in future. Thank you.

Sue Normington was wonderful and as usual all went well.  I have used the services of West Wales Pet Watch for over 5 years.   All their sitters are dog lovers and really look after my pets.  It makes leaving home so much easier as I know my beloved dogs are safe in their own home with a wonderful dog sitter looking after them. It is just a shame I cannot use your services more often. I have however recommended you to several people.

Erin Stephens was an excellent dog-sitter for our 3 dogs for the week we were away on holiday in January 2022.  She arrived promptly on the day we departed and was happy to run through all of our notes we had made relating to the dogs but also our home. The dogs clearly took to Erin who has a lovely manner with them, which really reassured us before we left. We arrived home a week later to a clean and tidy house and 3 tired and clearly very contented dogs. We would definitely recommend Erin and West Wales Pet Watch to anyone looking for a warm and competent dog sitter.

Erin likes dogs. The first members of our household to notice were our two rather nervous spaniels. The dogs took to Erin immediately. Strange how dogs sense whether visitors to their home are dog lovers or not! Erin arrived on time and delivered everything that was promised. The dogs were exercised, fed and played with. Erin left the house as tidy as she found it and gave every impression of having enjoyed her visit. We would not hesitate to recommend Erin Stephens and the four-legged members of the household are looking forward to renewing her acquaintance. What a wonderful service Lyn provides. My dog is a very old Jack Russell and I'd booked my holiday with the intention to take her with us but as the time got nearer I realised that she wasn't going be able to cope due to her failing health. So I was looking for someone who would stay in my house to look after my dog. I happened to mention to a friend of mine that I was struggling to find anyone who could help me when she mentioned her friend Lyn who lived in Wales( I live in Somerset). So I contacted Lyn who did a bit of juggling with her other clients and the rest is history. I was a little apprehensive on leaving my dog because she was not eating well at the time and had a few health issues but I needn't have worried as  Lyn gave me regular updates throughout the week. When I got back my dog looked very happy and contented. Lyn had taken her out for little walks and had even driven to a pet shop to buy some food that my very fussy dog would eat. I'd say she had gone above and beyond what I had expected. Thank you Lyn for providing such an excellent service and I would certainly use you again.

We wanted to avoid the double holiday jeopardy on our dog of us leaving her and her going into a strange kennel. We came across West Wales Pet Watch and after a few initial conversations with Lyn Martin felt we had made the right choice. Everything that followed - the professionalism, the attention to detail, the experience, the genuine love of pets - bore that out. We met our sitter Jan, one of Lyn's group of experienced sitters, beforehand to make sure that sitter and dog were well suited. And they were! Our dog barely noticed our absence, so happy and comfortable was she with Jan and that she was staying at home. In effect the Dog had a holiday too. The level of care, attention and company that our dog received was nothing but first class and is something that cannot be replicated in a kennel. We have nothing but unreserved praise for the terrific service we and our dog received and at a cost that compared favourably to any of the kennels we had initially scoped. Highly recommended.

Hi just a quick note to say how grateful we were with the service you have given us. From first contact through to your last call to check everything was ok. Many thanks to Erin Feeney for taking care of Bailey the dog and Peggy our cat. We went away happy,  knowing that they were being well cared for which meant we could relax and enjoy ourselves, Many thanks and wouldn't hesitate to use you again should the need arise.

We booked Lyn for a two night stay to look after our  7 month old Golden Retriever Henry and our rabbit Misty. Lyn came to do a home visit  to meet us and our pets and to go over their needs. Everything was handled in a kind and professional manner. It was the first time we had left Henry but we were reassured knowing that he would be well looked after by Lyn. She kept  in touch during our time away and gave us updates. We will definitely use West Wales Pet Watch in the future and can highly recommend their services to anyone needing a pet sitter.

Just a very quick word to say thank you so much for making the arrangements for our pets yesterday, while we attended a family wedding. Karen and Jan were absolutely fantastic!! They kept us totally updated and when we came home around 12.30am we could not even see that they had been there. They left lights on for us and the animals were all tucked up and sleeping soundly so we did not have to do anything except go to bed!! Wonderful.

We are delighted with the service we have received from Pet Watch.  We had to arrange a dog sitter for a weekend at very short notice and Jan kindly agreed to sit for us.  We have two sheepdogs who are with us 24/7 and are so special to me that I am reluctant to leave them!  We needn't have worried, Jan put my mind at ease immediately.  Everything was handled professionally, I had daily updates and the dogs needs were met exactly as I had specified.  The dogs were happy and so are we!  We would highly recommend this Service.
