We used West Wales Pet Watch for the second time this June when we had a family wedding. Sue Whitehead was our dog and house sitter. She did an excellent job and Buddy was well looked after. Sue made sure she had his routine listed and likes and dislikes and was not phased when Buddy barked at her. Thank you so much and we would recommend your service to anyone looking for sitters.

Thank you as ever for arranging the sit. We just waved Sue Whitehead off after a rather stressful drive which took us over 5.5 hours, an hour longer than normal.  Everyone looks in the best of health and the tidy house is such a bonus after the nightmare drive. Thank you again to you both.

As a couple, living on a smallholding with a large menagerie of animals, we had always avoided going away together because we felt we would never find anyone capable of looking after them all in our absence. The wedding of our niece this summer, being held 250 miles away, forced us to think about finding a reliable pet/house sitter so we contacted Lyn at West Wales Pet Watch. Lyn didn't seem at all concerned that we had 7 dogs, including 2 puppies, chickens and a flock of 50ish sheep and was happy to make an initial visit to meet them all. She put us at ease with her confident, capable manner and we could see that the dogs were very accepting of her even during that initial visit. The day of our departure arrived and we left Lyn in charge; it did feel a bit strange going away and leaving all the animals, but with daily updates on how everyone was getting on at home, we had no reason to worry at all, and really enjoyed our trip! The security of knowing our home was also being looked after in our absence was another bonus. The dogs loved Lyn looking after them, and we're sure the chickens and sheep did too! West Wales Pet Watch is highly recommended by us all!

3 dogs, 2 pigs, 3 geese, 20 chickens and 50 sheep. We needed someone to look after the animals on our smallholding while we were away at our daughter's wedding and although I was really looking forward to the wedding I was anxious about leaving the animals especially my three dogs. Lyn and Sue came to look around and talk about the service they provide and answer any questions, which was very informative and reassuring. Sue agreed to also do a short two hour pet sit as I was worried about how the dogs would be if I wasn't there as we have a small dog that can be snappy with some people. The dogs were all fine with Sue and this made me feel much better about leaving them for the wedding. Sue came to go through and familiarise herself with all the details of feeding the animals etc a couple of days before the actual farm sit and I had written the details down as it was quite a lot to remember.  The day to leave for the wedding arrived and Sue arrived punctually and was very calm and attentive to the dogs, this made leaving easier for us. We had a minor hitch when a friend who was staying with us forgot her dress for the wedding and had to return to collect it but Sue took this in her stride and everything went smoothly.  Upon our return everything was normal, the dogs were excited to see us and all the animals had been well cared for, Sue even watered my plants!  Sue is friendly, efficient and professional and I wouldn't hesitate to use her again or recommend her. We are very happy customers.

When planning our wedding my husband and I knew that our dogs had to be a part of it, but it didn't seem right asking a guest to wrangle three dogs.  Not only that, but all three had different care requirements as one is elderly, one disabled, and the last a pup. We got in touch with West Wales Pet Watch and Lyn introduced us to Erin. Erin was absolutely fantastic. She brought the dogs to the wedding and allowed them to seamlessly be part of our big day without causing anyone any stress. Then they were taken back home where Erin stayed with them overnight. She took care of them fantastically and the three of them absolutely adored her.  Will definitely use West Wales Pet Watch again. Couldn't have been happier!

I just want to say how pleased I was with the young lady called Erin from West Wales Pet Watch who came to look after my two dogs from the 29th to 31st July so I could go to a wedding.  Erin got on really well with Poppit and Stanley and took care of them as if they were her own, taking them for walks and making them (and me) feel at ease so that they didn't worry. I would have no qualms about having her come back should I need to and would recommend West Wales Pet Watch to anybody who doesn't like to put their pets into kennels and needs a pet sitter. 10 out of 10.

Just a quick thank you for setting us up with Rob, to look after 'Tippy' and 'Twinky', whilst we took a few days away. It was a great success, and the cats very much enjoyed having Rob look after them. It would be good if we could have either Rob, or Julie, to look after them, when we next go away, in October - would that be possible?  Thanks again, for providing such capable sitters. PS. We got in contact with Lyn at West Wales Pet Watch after a recommendation from a friend. We were getting married and needed someone to look after our dog Ffredi. We hated the thought of sending him to a Kennel, so having someone stay at our house - a place where Ffredi felt comfortable, was the ideal option. From the start, we felt completely at ease with Lyn. She was very easy to contact, and ever so professional. We trusted her instantly. She was thorough in making sure she understood Ffredi's needs, therefore on our wedding day, we could relax and enjoy, knowing that Ffredi was in good hands. Julie looked after our two sight hounds whilst we were on holiday for a week. It was such a worry to leave them but Julie was lovely and the dogs took to her immediately. She kept in regular contact with updates on the dogs which put us at ease. On our return it was clear that the dogs had bonded with Julie and it was wonderful to see. It's so nice knowing we can go away again and the dogs will be happy. Thankyou so much Julie and the Pet Watch Team!

Rob recently  looked after our two springer spaniels and we went away feeling confident that our girls would be well looked after.   Rob listened to all of the information regarding the girls daily routine.   The girls were extremely well cared for, they were very happy and calm when we returned. They clearly enjoyed their time with Rob and  hope he enjoyed being with Gillie and Floss. We hope that Rob would be happy to look after them again.
