This is the first time we have ever left our 9 1/2 stone, 2 1/2 year old Pyrenean Mastiff so naturally we were a little bit worried. Luckily we chose West Wales Pet Watch; they were brilliant from start to finish. Sue who came to stay with her was wonderful and put up with her funny quirky little ways and took her for lots of walks. When we returned everything was just as we had left it. Nothing to be concerned about at all. We will definitely use them again. We would highly recommend them and give them 5 stars.

Just a short note to thank you for sending Sonia to look after Lisa, she was a big hit with our feline mistress.  Once again it was all very successful and we were able to have some time away without having to worry about her. The service provided by you and your team is superbly professional and Sonia's input was wonderful. Clare has looked after Seren twice now, once during the day for eight days and once with an overnight stay. Seren is six months old and a handful. When Clare was here during the day I had friends staying here who looked after her at night. I was delighted when they told me how good Clare was with my little puppy and I could also tell that Clare had continued with the puppy training. I would have no hesitation in recommending her to anyone and have booked her up again for another three sessions before Christmas. It is nice to be able to leave Seren in very capable hands and not worry. Thank you so much.

A short note to thank you so very much for the wonderful job you did in looking after Lisa, whilst we were away this past weekend.  The care she received from you was excellent and the service was 'A1 double-plus'. You were, obviously, a huge hit with Lisa as she has now gone looking for you, in the bedroom, twice since yesterday evening - we get the feeling she may be slightly miffed that you're not around. It was very relaxing to be able to go away for the weekend knowing she was in good hands.  All being well, and Lisa still being with us, we would hope to use your services again, in the near future and we would certainly recommend your services to anyone looking for a pet/home-sitter. Everything went very well; Lina sent a photo through on her first day to confirm she'd got into the house safely and that our cat was happily playing. We always keep our cat indoors during our holidays as we had a cat previously that got lost in the run up to our going away so we are rather anxious whenever we are due a break away. So it's essential for our peace of mind that we know a caring person is guaranteed to play with Bara Brith so her days are not too boring! I would thoroughly recommend your service, and Lina, especially. It doesn't suit us just to have a neighbour calling with food and the cat roaming freely as our furry friends do have a short attention span and they do need company and security during holidays, however happy they seem when you are at home with them. Professional cat-sitting takes the worry out of going away.

As with so many of us, our dog is very much a family member, used to being in our company 24/7. Kennels have never seemed the answer so when occasions arise when it is necessary to leave her, it has always been a difficult decision and hard to do so with peace of mind. Not any more! The total professionalism with which Lyn and her team approach their clients has been noted by many people. Careful listening takes place in the initial set up meeting to ensure that every requirement is met and owners can feel reassured that their pet will be well cared for. In our case, Lyn also displayed flexibility about tweaking the dates of the sit, accommodating several changes of plan, and also sensitivity about the fact that in living in someone's home she would be coming into what is essentially a private and intimate space. So that when it came to the day, I left the house and our Border Collie diva, if not completely without the odd qualm (she has something of a Jekyll and Hyde personality if not properly handled), then with the confidence that Lyn was definitely  in charge of the situation.  My confidence was vindicated. Reassuring texts were sent by Lyn while we were away so that I knew all was well as the sit progressed. I returned to a cleaner house than when I left it and both Lyn and the dog looking completely calm and relaxed. Clearly my absence had barely been registered by my little dear, why would she, when she had had her exercise routine as normal, her daily medications given, companionship offered while at the same time respecting her occasionally aloof manner, and all in all no disruption to her normal life? I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending West Wales Pet Watch and will certainly be using them again in the future. Going away need never be difficult again.

Using the services of  West Wales Pet Watch  in early June for the first time I was able to leave home and fly off to enjoy a wedding celebration in Italy for 5 days knowing my lovely Lurcher was in safe hands. Anne W. was wonderful with Jillie and I could see how Jillie took to her immediately.  Seems they spent time walking in the lovely, sunny countryside and Jillie introduced Anne to all the shopkeepers here in Machynlleth! When I arrived home my cottage was in perfect order and fresh milk in the fridge and a very happy dog by the front gate!  Making the first contact with Lyn was easy and my emails were always answered straight away and it was more like family taking care of my dog rather than a well run business! Anne had even left a day to day diary 'written' by Jillie!! It may be our first time using W.W.P.W. but for Jillie and I it won't be the last !    Thanks to Lyn and Anne from both of us.

Thank you for introducing Lesley. She was lovely.  Bracken had just lost his best friend but Lesley cheered him up no end. The hens were well looked after and plants watered. The house was beautifully spick and span on our return and Lesley had even laundered the bed covers; a lovely surprise. We look forward to having her stay again... if she'll have us!

Leah did a great job with our two dogs during the two weeks that we were gone. Both of our dogs were relaxed and happy when we got home. It was clear that she had done everything that we had asked of her (to include taking both dogs on two long walks a day — which meant four walks for her). We received regular updates on our dogs, which were greatly appreciated. There were no problems while we were gone and we loved that she was at the house with them all day, everyday — they are two big, young dogs and need lots of attention, something they both had clearly received. We arrived home to a clean and organized house with two very happy dogs. We would love to use Leah again in the future.  Thank you for all of your help!

Over 40 years we have been privileged to have a Jack Russell Cross - called Scooter, three Dalmatians - Alice, Daisy and Bert as well as a lively Weimaraner named Ruby.  As we have moved across the Country we have always kennelled our dogs.  We don't have a bad word to say about any of their holiday homes, all have been clean and staffed by people who love dogs. We now live on a small holding and keep chickens as well as our Bert and Ruby.  Getting away is difficult, even if I kennel the dogs someone has to care for our 7 chickens.  The dogs have a set routine and they do need a lot of exercise  so when I saw Lyn's advertisement at our local Vets I emailed her a picture of our dogs on Borth beach.  A quick response followed by a home visit where Lyn brought along Sue ( another pet/home sitter) resulted in us booking her in May 2016 to allow us to go to a wedding.  Sadly shortly after this visit we needed to go to a funeral in Essex.  I contacted Lyn to see whether she could help out and she responded positively.  We left Lyn in charge and everything went brilliantly.  Lyn sent a text the first evening to assure us all was well which we very much appreciated.  We could see on our return that the dogs loved Lyn and this feeling was reciprocated.  We are delighted to have found Lyn and will undoubtedly call on her services throughout the year. Everything about Lyn and her Company is very professional and you can have complete trust that your pets will be loved and your house and property cared for.
