We saw an advert for West Wales Pet Watch and spoke to a very pleasant lady called Lyn. Clare Bluett was our first dog sitter and on her first visit to introduce herself we were very impressed with her manner and the way she handled Cara, our Boston Terrier. We were at ease straight away and knew that our precious dog would be in safe hands. Due to unforeseen circumstances Clare had to stay on a few extra days. She was very obliging and we came home to a happy and contented dog. We highly recommend Clare and West Wales Pet Watch for animal sitting. We have recently moved to West Wales and have always had a live in sitter for our pets whilst on holiday or working away. Our first task was to find the same here. West Wales Pet Watch was advertised on the vets notice board so arranged a meeting with Lyn the owner. We were also able to meet Lesley our sitter at the meeting and she was able to meet her three charges. As a result we made a booking. The service was professional and paperwork comprehensive which immediately set our minds at rest.   Lesley was very prompt on her arrival times and well organised. On our return we found three very happy cats who had obviously kept Lesley amused judging by the mini diary she had kept. The house was clean and tidy just as I had left it which is very important to us and an essential part of the service. Lesley is a very keen seamstress and left us two beautiful lavender bags which I love!  The overall service has been excellent and if my cats are happy then so am I. We will be using Pet Watch on a regular basis and fully recommend them.

Please could you pass on our grateful thanks to Lesley for her pet sitting skills. As you will appreciate things were a little hectic here under the sad circumstances so it was so re-assuring to know we didn't have to worry at all about the dogs, cat, rabbit, chooks, ducks and sheep!!!!

Our Labradoodle, Alfie and Cocker Spaniel, Jenks are used to being taken on long walks on difficult terrain and indulged to the nth degree indoors so we were rather worried how Lyn would deal with them. However the personal initial visit, professional approach and with the contract guaranteeing that they would not be left alone for more than three hours per day persuaded us to go away to foreign climes feeling totally reassured. We returned to find that they were all very happy. Our chickens and cat too. So encouraged we went away again soon afterwards and have booked up for the next year ahead feeling liberated. Lyn's Professional Pet Watch Service is amazing because for the first time in years we are guaranteed reassurance that our animals are looked after extremely carefully. It is no exaggeration to say that our lives have been transformed.

I live in very rural parts, Lesley was not fazed by the location, the eccentricities of the house and the dogs. The dogs, unusually, were happy to be left in her company and were just as happy on my return. When the goose refused to go to bed Lesley went beyond the call of duty, ( I would have left her to her own devices ! ) chasing her round the fields until she got her to bed. The animals and I would be happy for Lesley and West Wales Pet Watch to pay a return visit.

We came across Lyn's information at our local vet; we had been looking for a dog sitter for a while. After emailing Lyn and confirming which dates she had available, Lyn came for an initial visit to meet us and the dogs and have a chat. All went well at that visit, and we felt confident that the dogs and our home would be in good hands. Lyn followed this initial visit up with a second visit a week before we went away, to come for a walk with our dogs. Once again we were happy with Lyn handling the dogs. The day for going away arrived and as any dog owner knows, dogs make you feel guilty about leaving them, well surprisingly not this time, our nervous boy went and put his head on Lyn! We went away happy, and had a great time. We arrived home and parked the car, walked in the gate and were at the door before the dogs even noticed we were home, it was so nice to see them relaxed and not fretting - and the house was gleaming. Lots of people who know our dogs have chatted to us to say what a nice lady Lyn is too, so, many thanks Lyn, we are now looking forward to our next holiday when Lyn will come to stay again.

When I first saw Lyn's advert I had high hopes that at last there was a professional home sitter in the area - I was right!  From our very first telephone conversation, to the numerous occasions Lyn has taken care of our home and beloved animals, we have never been disappointed or concerned.  The truth is, Lyn has exceeded any expectations we had, which for us is very hard to do  Lyn is very professional and soon becomes part of your life in a very positive way, as in I do not know what we would do without her. For many years I suffered with health problems and when I started to feel better one of my babies, a big soft great dane called Carlton, became very ill.  Carlton needs 24/7 care, is on much medication and most importantly, I had never left him alone with anyone other than my partner or very close friends.  To introduce anyone into Carlton's life, enough for him to trust, would take time and patience.  Lyn was so empathetic to our needs and worked with us over time to make this happen.   Upon our first weekend away from home poor Lyn was pestered with a neurotic mother -  me - with phone calls checking on my babies at home.  Upon our return it was obvious that like us our animals absolutely trusted Lyn and they had already developed a very respectful and loving bond with her.  When Lyn came to leave, both dogs stood at the back door looking longingly after her.  All our animals were relaxed and our home - well I'm sure it was much tidier than when we left and kept very clean.  At no point have I worried of Lyn's capability to handle anything, she truly is a star.  If I had to sum Lyn up in a word it would be exceptional, exceptional at anything you could possibly need her to do.  Lyn has given us some normality to our life again and I do not think we could trust anyone like we trust Lyn.

We Used West Wales Pet Watch for the first time in May of this year to look after our three house cats and our poultry. We were very pleased with the standard of service throughout and have already booked again for later in the year.

It was with some trepidation that we contacted Lyn Martin West Wales pet service about arranging a pet sitter as it wasn't something we had done before. Our anxieties were unfounded as it all worked very well. We - and more importantly Meg, our golden retriever - met Lesley, our pet sitter, twice prior to the holiday and we were delighted with the service Lesley provided which included all Meg's care, including the long walks she usually has.  And Lesley also fed the fish and was very patient when I rang to check that Meg was alright!  I have no hesitation in recommending the pet sitting service and would definitely use the service again.
